Default Bone Weaver

Bone Weaver

Basis
A proffesion made to survive in battle, even without a team because of it's incredible defense skill but also assits fellow allies through defensive buffs and skills. But a fairly slow attack rate and low damage.

Story

The Bone Weaver was born from the heat of battle and contempt for all other humanity. It was first seen in a great battle between the two armies of Balthazar and Dhuum in the early years. The man who was changed into the Bone Weaver was a warrior for Balthazar but when he heard of Dhuum's power and witnessed the strength of the undead he wished for a change. After a long trek to Dhuum's domain he was greeted with Dhuum's wicked smile and his promise of great power. As Dhuum bestowed his "gift" the man noticed he was being changed into a horrible gruesome creature with great spikes of bone jutting from all areas of his body. As the ceremony was completed Dhuum laughed snidely and watched as his creature ran from him in. Later returning to his people he was met by screams of horror the man ,saddened, left for the mountains to stay for all time. Until just recently when he was discovered and even with the obvious deformities still some wish to be like him to be a Bone Weaver.

Basics
Very high AL (higher than warrior AL)
480 health
30 energy
3 pips of energy

Weapon
Either:
Dual Shields-a smallish shield on each arm dealing about 10-23 blunt damage with the possibility to daze/knockdown these shields will keep the bonus armor that normal shields have (maybe?).
or Gauntlets-useing punches dealing about 5-15 blunt again but quicker other than that same as the shields idea.

Look
With armor-very heavy looking and big with large spikes most places (always covering the entire body).
Without-muscular and lean resembling a cross between a necro and warrior of course with protruding spikes.

Followed Gods
Balthazar/Dhuum

I don't like people tinkering with the Heath and Energy.
I like it if it is only 480 hp and 20-30 energy.
Nothing New, Lacks 1 more Attb, Claw not Unique.
For Claws nothing new but a Nerfed Axe.
Example:
Scythe -> Multi-Target, Dagger -> Double-Strike
So if you're making new weapon types you need new unique Ideas^^.

Rating:

6/10

I gave you an additional 0.50 cause you're new^^.
Try improving^^, Try to think of something New.
This CC reminds me of Faust VIII^^.

When I read the title I thought someone had beat me too it on my newest idea.

But reading over it its just some sort of double elite 'Order of the Vampire' and 'Aura of the Lich' W/N that has no adrenaline.

Now first let me clear up the biggest mistake you made.
Genth is not some god of undead armies of evil!
Genth is the judge, the one that watches over anyone that crosses into the mists.
Anyone who has ever gone against the (comandments) gods is terorised by his shadows and gools.
Anyone who is unworthy of the sanctity of the realm of a god(heaven) is thrown into the mists to be tormented forever.

In that genth is saint... 'something' (the guy with the key to heaven), and definatly not some god of evil or undeath.

Necromancers are always on the brink of death and also pull their abileties from beond this life.
(life stealing and soul reaping, normaly the life and soul of stuff goes directly to Genth, necro's only ask politely if they can borrow the stuff for a while)
In order to do so they need Genths permission, with offerings and faith they keep him appeased and are thus able to use their abilities.

As cultists, defilers(not respecfully laying the dead lie) and preformers of all sorts of vile ritals; Genth does not like necro's! This is why they do not get any skills with the name Genth in them.

The dervish who does not disturb the dead, judges without pregudice through the faith of thier opponents and reaps the unfaithfull with a big scythe is definatly Genths favorite, they get skills liek Genth's Touch and Graps of Genth proving that Genth is literally willing to lend them a hand.

Your class does not furfill the role of judge or grave keeper for peacefull death, and there for does not fit Genth at all.
It's focuses on undeath, which keeps Genth from doing his job making him wait.

I know playing a undead is cool, but this story is completelty flaude you will definatly need to change it.
(also if gods fight, they keep going untill one of them is a fallen god, because they are godly subbourn and persistent ofcource. So balthazar and genth fighting is probably a bad idea)
Quote:
Weapon
Zweihander (max 5-30)-a huge two handed sword (able to strike up to two foes in front of you and a slight possibility to knock down opponets).
Quote:
Claw Mastery:increases damage done with claws.
Come again?
Claws or claymores?

For the primary, thair armor would go up to fast 40 armor is a lot of damge reduction of it's on top of a 90AL suit of armor.
(warrior is 80 so
Quote:
Very high AL (higher than warrior AL)
is 90, it goes in steps of 10)

But warrior armor has +20 against physical amd +16 from a shield and + whatever upgrades and insignas are used.
That is a garanteed 36 against physical, so 40 AL from a primary does not seem that wrong, if you had a warriors AL and a wariors energy.

But 3 energy regen is usually placed on 70AL armors; so 70 + 40 + insignas & upgrades(and a shield from secondairy profession) is high, but not that baffeling anymore, it could do for now.

Also your class needs a unique addition to the game: some way it is not just another form of soemthing we have, but a way to make everyone play the game differently, be they a bone weaver or not.
The best way to describe it is impact, before assasins there was no good ganking, before ritualits there was no fortress building.
I realise any attempts at helping I porvided above are invane as without a impact for the class it is doomed to be a sucky class.

Oh and overpoweredness may seem like an impact but it really isn't.

I think its a niffty concept, as bones are a good source material to draw idea on. (also I like that guy in Naruto who use his bone as weapon)

BUT... I just don't see the need for it to exisit as its own class (using GW1's standard, of couse). While the numbers can be reduce down to kept it from being over power, the suggested skills are rather not very original, something a War/Mo could mimic.

What I would suggest is to just incoroperate into Necro's skill line, which is something I always want to see. This Give Necro further abily to use Bone-related defensive/counterattack skills would help them in self-survial, as well as fit with the theme.

something like...

Spike Bone Armor:
Enchantment. T second duration, damage all next to foe with X Piercing damage per second.

Ribcage Armor:
Enchantment. T second duration, increase AL by X, and reduce the attacking speed of melee attacking foe attacking you by 50% (weapon caught in the rib)

Bone Plate:
Enchantment. T second duration, increase AL by X, but reduce all speed (casting, attacking, moving) by 20%.

Spinal Whip:
Enchantment. Consume a Corpuse, and for T seconds, you summon 1...3 Spinal Whip on your back, that does X damages to nearby foe. (a bit like minon that attach onto you)

ok fixed some stuff:
-added new attribute
-added two new skill to go with new attribute
-changed weapon gave two possibilities
-and changed Grenth to Dhuum(not sure if i'm spelling that right)but i know he's evil
-fixed primary so that it's not so over powered

and if that didn't help much i like actionjack's idea

I like the idea of being an all defense tank. But these would be useless in PvP because nobody attacks the tank. Then the roles would be reversed in PvE where all the enemies would attack the tank and they would be able to solo almost everything. I think this class needs some sort of weakness like extremely low energy (15 max 1 pip?).

Also, maybe have one of the attributes (Ivory or Strategy) focus on drawing attacks to yourself. This would give them a better use in PvP. Something like:

"Eyes on Me!" 5/0/15
Shout. All creatures within earshot automatically target you.

Entangling Bones 5/1/25
Enchantment Spell. For 2...15 seconds, all nearby foes can only attack you. You lose 1-20 armor while under this enchantment.
